Field Team Lead

Bradley grew up in Tākaka where regular excursions to local beaches and parks lead to a deep interest in nature, in particular birds. Thanks to local conservation projects like Project Janszoon in the Abel Tasman National Park he was able to get hands-on in the conservation world throughout high school.

Through connections made in the Abel Tasman, Bradley became involved in regular wading bird census trips to Farewell Spit as well as other DOC projects such as field research of elusive kotoreke / marsh crake and matuku-hūrepo / Australaiasn bittern.

In 2022 after a stint volunteering with the kākāpō recovery team on Whenua Hou, Bradley joined the ZIP team working mainly on the PFSW and PFR projects as a field ranger and a field team lead
