Field Ranger
Dario is a biologist, whose research was mostly focused on ant diversity as bioindicators of habitat degradation by human activities. He has also worked with dragonflies, butterflies and plant communities, usually with a focus in ecology and conservation. After finishing his degree, Dario followed his family to the literal opposite side of the earth and found this job at ZIP shortly after.
Dario has always wanted to work for an organisation that is focused on environmental, climate, and biodiversity improvement. His second priority is being outdoors and staying active, so a job with ZIP was a great fit!
In his free time, Dario loves kayaking, wildlife photography, tramping and video gaming. Living on the West Coast is great but he does miss having a place to practice judo, another one of his passions…
