Reports Coordinator
Jacqui joined the ZIP Team in 2022, after a role with DOC in Community Conservation Funding. She has a MSc in Conservation Genetics of the Chatham Island taiko and is currently studying science communication on the side.
She has always loved being outside and getting to know the creatures that live there. But it was a lucky trip to the Subantarctic Islands of New Zealand that really got her excited about the predator free vision. Seeing the stark difference in life between the islands that are predator free and those that aren’t, got her thinking about what we could achieve on mainland New Zealand.
Jacqui is looking forward to being part of the ZIP team and sharing our good work with Boards, funders and anyone else who is interested.
In her spare time Jacqui enjoys hanging out with her dog Lupa, reading and being very average at hobbies like whitewater kayaking surfing and mountain biking.
