Field Team Lead
Before joining ZIP at the beginning of 2021, Ethan worked as a Ranger with DOC based in Central Otago. During this time he enjoyed a varied role, ranging from hut and track work, to weed control and island time catching Kākāpō.
Spending time on offshore, predator free islands showed Ethan how much biodiversity wins when predators are taken out of the mix. Working with ZIP towards this goal on mainland Aotearoa will be a mammoth piece of mahi he is proud to be part of.
In his spare time, Ethan enjoys dragging his friends out tramping around the country and climbing big hills for the views. When the weather doesn't play ball, consuming vast quantities of food and Netflix don't go amiss.
