Science and Technical Innovator

Adam is based in Wellington on the science team at ZIP. He helps us answer key questions to better understand and manage predator populations across our study sites.

Adam wanted to study Zoology from a young age. However, after seeing native species recover following the removal of predators from Maungatautari (his childhood playground) - he became more interested in studying the predators than the natives.

He later spent his time researching stoats in alpine habitat in South Westland for his Masters at Otago. Adam loves working at ZIP where he gets to work on what interests him most every day – whether in the field or the office.

On the weekends Adam tries to get out of Wellington with friends, whether it be hunting, diving, or rock and alpine climbing.
