Based in the Wellington office, Nic is a GIS and Data Analyst focusing on spatial data capture, analysis and presentation.

After graduating from Victoria University with a BSc in Psychology, he ended up becoming a GIS Analyst for the Animal Health Board/OSPRI. Feeling that his degree didn't fit with the work he was doing, he enrolled at Massey University extramurally and completed a PgDip in GIS. He is keen to get involved and apply his knowledge of GIS to the work ZIP carries out.

He enjoys getting out and about and exploring the outdoors, whether it be cycling, tramping or walking. He has two young children who keep him busy and he enjoys exploring the world through their eyes. He values the work ZIP is doing and one of his favorite quotes is: "We do not inherit the earth from our ancestors; we borrow it from our children.”
