Susannah runs the ZIP website, and provides administrative and logistical support to the ZIP team.
After completing a BA in English Literature and Philosophy at Victoria University, Susannah spent two years in Japan teaching English before returning to Wellington to work at the Department of Conservation.
She is currently seconded to ZIP and enjoying the experience of working for a small, tightly-focused research and development organisation, while retaining close ties to the Department and other key partners.
Susannah is based in Wellington and spends some of her time at ZIP’s field site in Queen Charlotte Sound, where she is finally beginning to get the hang of walking in crampons.
She is fuelled by a potent blend of strong black coffee, cheese sandwiches, and good grammar.
