Operations Coordinator

After completing a Bachelor of Science at Sydney University and spending some time overseas, Nate stumbled into the world of conservation as a volunteer for the Department of Conservation on Raoul Island. He spent the best part of the following two years working on the weed program there.

Nate joined ZIP as a field ranger working at the temporary Haast field site before moving to Bottle Rock Peninsula to take on the role of Field Team Lead. In his current role, he coordinates ZIP’s field operations across South Westland.

In his spare time Nate enjoys cooking, photography, watching AFL, and (when his legs aren't too sore) a bit of tramping.
