Field Ranger and Animal Behaviour Technician

Tim finished a Master’s degree investigating pest animal behaviour towards control devices in 2013 and has since worked as a technician at Lincoln University investigating novel lures, baits and new control devices for pest species in New Zealand.

Tim has experience in vertebrate monitoring and control operations using a wide variety of current methods as well as new prototype control devices such as PAPP (para-aminopropriophenone) and sodium nitrate toxins as well as traps.

Based at Lincoln University, Tim undertakes initial pilot research on lures, tools and ideas before large scale deployment occurs at ZIP’s study sites.
